Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I reserve my spot to audition?
The next page will inform you that a spot is being reserved for you or to inform you that you are on our waiting list. In the case of appearing on the waiting list, we will contact you if a spot becomes available. Please note, space is limited and spots are reserved on a first come, first served basis.
How long will the audition and seminar take?
You must be in attendance for the entire duration in order to be considered. Once all models & talent in attendance have had the opportunity to audition and meet the CMTC scouts, CMTC will be presenting an information seminar. During the information seminar, you will receive an information package and will also have the opportunity to ask questions. At this time, CMTC scouts will explain how the selection process works as well as when and how you will know if you have been selected.
Do I need to bring a parent?

If you are under the age of 18, you are required to bring a parent or legal guardian with you. We also encourage all models & talent bring a key family member with them for support.
What should I wear? What should I bring?
Be natural! Dress casual, no hats please!! Females should wear minimal make-up and hair down. You do not need to bring any photos with you as we will be taking a digital snapshot of you at the audition. We encourage you to download and bring with you a completed copy of the CMTC Application Form (please see above) to the audition to minimize waiting time. In the event you do not bring with you a completed CMTC Application Form, we will have application forms and pens on hand for you to complete.
What is the age requirement?
Ages 4 and up. CMTC works with Children, Teens & Adults in the fields of modelling, acting, singing and dance.
Can babies or toddlers audition?
CMTC works with children as young as 4 years (and occasionally a very mature 3 year old). Please do not bring babies &/or toddlers with you to the audition and information seminar.
Do I need to have experience?
NO! We are looking for new faces. CMTC is an opportunity for New Faces or models with limited experience to break into the industry on both a national and international level. The Agents, Scouts, Managers, Clients & Casting Directors that attend CMTC are looking for new faces.
