Why is Personality so important?

People in the Industry have to LIKE you in order to want to work with and for you! This includes parents too! Agents and Clients do not like to work with difficult people, people with egos or attitudes. If you think you are beautiful and that's all that it takes you are WRONG! It doesn't matter if you are the best looking guy in your class, you were voted valedictorian or you are the most popular girl in your school. That does not mean that if you put little effort into this business that you are going to make it and be successful.

If you think looks matter and who you are doesn't, you are WRONG! Agencies and clients only want to work with nice, professional models and talent with great, warm and friendly personalities! Something to think about, a client is hiring for a 5 day booking. A client will not care what you look like or where you have modelled before if you can't be nice to the people that are employing you and working with you on set. It doesn't take long for that client who initially thought you were beautiful and perfect for the job to think you are no longer all that beautiful all because you were nasty, full of attitude and unprofessional on set. In addition, word travels fast in this industry and your reputation will catch up with you if you are not nice to work with or a professional.
